A California man was arrested after he was accused of killing his infant son. Authorities said that the body still went missing.
California Man Killed His Infant Son
Police authorities arrested a 24-year-old California man identified as Yusef Dewees, after he was accused of killing his infant son between May 2 and May 3. It was found by the investigators that he was last seen with his son.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, the investigation began after the grandmother of the infant boy reported him missing on May 3. They then began searching the Antelope Valley landfill in the hope of finding the human remains of the infant boy.

California Man Will Face Charges
The mother of the child is under the custody due to unrelated charges before her infant son went missing. Meanwhile, the California man was arrested on June 5 and will face the following charges:
- One count of murder
- One count of assault on a child causing death
- One count of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death.
Furthermore, the California man will face maximum sentence of life in state prison if convicted. On the other hand, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said, “Child abuse has no place in our society and such acts of violence are beyond the pale. Children are some of the most vulnerable in our society, and every child is entitled to safety and protection as a human right. We are committed to vigorously seeking justice for the victim and their loved ones.”
